Shiprock Legacy
Original painting on wood panel using acrylics and pen and ink. Shiprock Legacy is an original painting that is a direct commentary on the legacy of uranium mining on the Navajo Indian Reservation and its contaminating and deadly after effects on the enviornment and the health and welfare of the Navajo Community. The painting is executed on a 24 x 24 wood panel and has a matte krylon uv protection coating applied to the art work. The painting won second place in the painting category of the 2024 Native American Art Show at the Autry National Museum.
