Item 302
Item 302 is a Small open round form using mica or micaceous clay which has flecks of mica on the surface of the form. The item is hand coiled hand made and is hand burnished. Round form piece is hand painted free hand using black underglaze, the black representing the night and protection. The form has been traditionally pit fired using wood which left a slight smokey pit fired effect on parts of the piece.
